naku $10,000 short term gain vundi ee  year already sold, lets say end of the year I sell some stock in losses like $13,000, so my overall loss is $3000, so I can claim that in my taxes as losses or I have to pay taxes for $10,000 gain and only claim $3000 losses

3K loss is ur net income. u claim that as deduction
