Always check with your immigration attorney before taking any steps. Rules will be changing from time to time. I stayed with the same employer , for 6months even after getting GC. GC is for future job, It’s a advance commitment saying that u will work for the sponsoring employer , so working for atleast 6 months after getting GC is fair enough. I never violated any rules, though I had tempting opportunities. Quote
