I guess it depends on individuals. I dont give two phucks about recognition. I changed 4 jobs in 6 years as a contractor and I learnt new skillset at every job. 

Whereas my frnd is a fte and he works on same module for last 4 years. 

I guess there are pros and cons for everything.

In the process they forgot that job is just a mode of making money enough to live a comfortable life.

 We work for sake of providing for our family. Period. Nothing more. 

If you are really greedy and love money, try to make smart investments rather than doing donkey work for 18hrs. Its not worth it.

4 jobs 6 years parledu bro but when you try for FT positions they think you are a job hopper and may not consider you, going ahead in the future. I am facing this situation anduke cheptunna
