There is a key difference here. Interviewing for FAANG is generally for general roles. If you are qualified enough they will first hire and create a role for you. Assume they have no python role but you are exceptional , they will first hire and then place

Other companies are different. They hire for very very very specific roles for a vacancy in a team and reqs change for every role and becomes tough to crack

They are mostly true man. Base ekkuva undadu gani performance bonus (10-25%), stock portion + refreshers will make it go higher. Ikkada DB lo contracting chese vallu common, so ivanni not possible anukovadam kuda common. There's a whole world out there.
