Just curious.Will our desi kids leave parents and live independently after a certain age?Have you seen this in your relatives or friends kids?

Yes I have seen they will not prefer to stay at home. They prefer to stay in dorms during college.

I read sometime in 2019 that kids are preferring to move back with parents after college mostly due to student debts.
