"Indians taking over"

Make no mistake it was very offensive comment. Indians always came to america as workers- there is no history of even past wars so one can make such a joke. The fact that these people come through tough immigration system, face through discrmination, work through all of it, build so much and get some positions and then are told "taking over" instead of a simple thanks means only one thing. Indians especially the proud upper caste indians who dominate this immigration numbers are not really accepted as full americans.

On one hand it appears satisfactory that these same indians who will not accept others in india who worked alongside them for centuries in marriage gatra because of caste are getting their own dose - even though its far less cruel than what they themselves do if given chance. on another hand i do feel sympathy because i feel sympathy for anyone treated unjustly.

Yendhi choopinchedhi - indian americans may get positions. But they have no desire to take over anything. Most are desperate to integrate as much as they are allowed in to american society. Most indian american children i know want to marry whites/hispanics even blacks rather than indian. Many speak only english in their houses. Most do not survive as indians for more than 2 generations.

What amazes me is intha lo integrate avvali thellalothe anuke vallu why not integrate with other indians back home? that will immedetatly create prosperity in india and they may not even need to go work outside.
