Head of operation,

director of operations 

and chief commercial officer tho interview ... help me what kind of questions I can expect for senior team lead position ki never had experience...

@macha  u need to answer it in a way that it satisfies every level..

Manager gadante... -- team lo godaval lekunda chusta ani.

Directors aite - Across team blaming lekunda chusta..

VP aite... -- across orgs and groups....

u need to fine tune ur answer to that persons level..

Godaval lekunda choostha antey biscuit vesinattey. Godaval Avuthey em chesthavo cheppali. Like how u try to resolve.. worst case lo em chesthav.

How would you onboard new team member? 
How would you correct a team member? What if they dont listen?

 

vp/director ki nuvvu cheppindi applies. They dont care about what you do with ur team. They care about over all product. How u drive.

i suspect it to be more management than technical questions. 

How you handle crisis, how you manage dates for releases, whats your commitment when crisis situations come across. 

 

All management questions prepare avvandi:

Tell them you can do anything that it takes to releases even in tight time lines. 

Tell them your exp in handling your teams,

(Like  for example 1 on 1 with each member of your team, once in a month, as a lead you need to support your team members every time, how you managed that, 

explain how your a part of senior management group in your prev expereince. 

Company divisinal meetings lo and company growth lo how you were part of it, how you handled, explain them clearly. 

Managing resources, how you saved company money, how you decided how many resources you needed. Can aslo explain how you choose resources for your allocated project and timelines. 

Nee team ni ela handle chesavu, like what was your way of leading projects, can explain past exp like agile, waterfall, kanban, user stories, retrospective meetings, after every release do and donts, with team members etc etc... 

Role of how you priotorized work after discussing with busines about the releases and projects. 

Your reports: Whom did you report to like every senior management. You can exlpain hierarchy your boss, his boss, so on to CEO. 

Explain how well you are in delivering succesful projects in your prev companies, you can also tell in detail like numbers kooda explain cheyandi.

Talk about your hobbies, what you do in your free time etc etc, also add about sports and weather likes, they'd feel good if you talk about sports and weather :)

thank you for taking your time writing this macha...yes same they wanted some onboard and take over the product...questions on how your product gave ROI how it improved ... what were consistent good and bad feedback you got from your managers....
