Front loads are much more efficient with washing and using water, but they are expensive.

Top loads are more water intensive and less effective , but these are less expensive in comparison

if its just for 2 people , I mean for parents then go for a top load

cheaper and it will be sufficient for their needs

drying India lo free kada , hot air all around so opt for a cheaper one and save money

Front load it bit costly but has better wash quality & is more gentle on clothes , consumes less water.

 

Top load more affordable consumes bit more water as compared to front load and bit more harsher on clothes.

 

BOSCH is first choice & IFB also in front load, IFB has 4 Yrs warranty & 10 Yrs spares support.

BOSCH has 2 yrs warranty & 10 yrs on motor.

 

Cost of both is pretty much same if i have pick one out of both it will BOSCH..

 

Other reliable brands are Whirlpool, Samsung etc... Whirlpool is pretty good is top load. Now a days in built heater has been removed in majority of top load models but front load its in built.

Capacity ni batti untaayi models... 

 

I have IFB top load since place where we live is not bit easy to accommodate top load although planned for bosch front load and bosch top load wasn't available it was introduced few months later.

Nayana have you seen the labour rates.in telugu states ? It's cheaper to buy a washing machine in most cities

6 Kgs is more than enough if not may go for 6.5 Kgs. If people are elders/Senior citizens better go with Top load.
