Top load more affordable consumes bit more water as compared to front load and bit more harsher on clothes. BOSCH is first choice & IFB also in front load, IFB has 4 Yrs warranty & 10 Yrs spares support. BOSCH has 2 yrs warranty & 10 yrs on motor. Cost of both is pretty much same if i have pick one out of both it will BOSCH.. Other reliable brands are Whirlpool, Samsung etc... Whirlpool is pretty good is top load. I have IFB top load since place where we live is not bit easy to accommodate top load although planned for bosch front load and bosch top load wasn't available it was introduced few months later.
