While the common people are going through inconceivably excruciating pain due to Covid second wave, here comes the underworld gangster Chhota Rajan getting VIP treatment. Rajan has been admitted to AIIMS Hospital for treatment after testing positive for Covid-19 on 27th April.

It is reported that the gangster is receiving proper treatment in one of the best hospitals parallel to what the undeserving ordeals that we are all facing. This fact did not go well with netizens and have stepped forward to question the government on why a gangster is getting VIP treatment, unlike everyone.

The second-wave gave a lot of bitter and tormenting memories to the people without adequate health care. “A law-abiding common man who pays tax to keep such criminals behind the bar are standing on roads pleading for hospital beds Slow cap to Indian judiciary” reads a tweet.

Another user questions the government asking “Underworld Don CHOTA RAJAN has tested positive for covid 19. He has been admitted in AIIMS. Like seriously, we have beds for a most wanted criminal but not for general public . Is this the India we are dreaming of? Do you want everyone to become a gangster?” This is not a novelty as before Rajan, we also have activist Umar Khalid tested positive for Covid at Tihar Jail and he is in isolation within the prison complex.

The shocking and upsetting state of affairs has once again proved the alleged hypocrisy by providing a bed for Chhota Rajan in popular AIIMS but when asked by the public, the staff denied the facility, leaving people on the streets.
