Compensation expectation

Hi Guys,

With my current employer I'm actually making decent money (120K/annum)+ good benefits. Location is NC. 

I got another offer in chicago which pays only salary. They asked me how much I'm expecting to go work for them.

Whats the avg salary I should expect for 7+ years exp in chicago? I'm confused because they don't offer any benefits.

P.S: I didn't apply for the position. My old manager here in NC is working for that company now and he initiated this thing.

benefits are worth at least 20K. And to make a move minimum 20K hike undali.

so ask for $160K. kudaradhu ante waste move unless it gives good exposure

Chicago average 125- 130k + benefits 

with that experience. Don’t fall for false expectations like 160k never gonna happen.

Exposure is one of the reasons I'm considering the offer. I'm not learning anything new from last 2-3 years in my current position

Chicago waste place man... don’t leave NC period ... moreover Chicago lo salaries are pretty much same as in NC .

lol... I'm trying to be realistic.. I do hear some make 200-300k but thats 1-2% people..
