Best thing is

1) Keep record of your entrires

2) Client ante evado manager e kadha. vadiki email petti, CC lo vadi managers ni pettu,

tell them this is causing mental harasamment bec of this ani, lekapothay  sachipoye thougts vasthunay ani pettu.

3) Madyalo vadu dabulu ivali if client approves.

First start wtih client approval.

I am in client place WHEN I recieved this kind of emails, I am afraid and approve it.

Ante legal notice file cheste it does not mean ur fighting the case just vadiki nuvvu issue resolve cheyakapothe court ki veltha ani ardam. So vadu mostly oka agreement ki vasthadu ela koncham time teesukuni isthanu ala so daniki nuvve nee attroney ki pay cheskovali

If you have proof that your client approved your time sheets and proper signed contract from vendor, i think you can send it to collections. My employer mentioned this once when i was similar job where i wanted to quit after working two months. I am not with my employer anymore so dont know the complete process on how this collections process work
