Tamilian's - DOG ki Upanayam, Jandhyam

It is not mockery  by putting jandhyam on dog  but arrogance. People who slaved for temples for centuries will not be allowed to wear sacred thread but even their dog can.

Its a continuation of the beleif system where an animal like cow is worshipped and the man who takes care of the cow (golla) is seen an impure.

who can stop anyone to put jandhyam, its individual choice.

Em sollu cheptav epudu chusina...anyone can get upanayanam and jandhyam if they are willing to follow certain rules. Many places lo even women get upanayanam irrespective of the caste they are born into. In fact the way we tie saree itself is symbolic representation of yagnopaveetam
