Telangana has right to be apprehensive about rayalaseema lift irrigation project.

But krishna river had more than 4000 TMC water go into ocean last two years but the water can be diverted for only 15-20 days

Main problem is it can be misused in a drought year to divert water .

Giving  KRMB full control of the rayalaseema lift irrigation project would be a nice solution .

Only divert the water when needs of krishna basin are fulfilled

This will be a disaster. KRMB should never be given any authority. Or else, it will become another Cauvery river management.

With river water being state subject and in situations like these, the state will always supercede the KRMB's authority and appeal in courts and you know what it happens when the issue goes to courts.

Face to Face dialogue between two parties will be very effective in resolving the issues.

If KCR and Jagan decide to sort out, it will resolve in no time.  but if its politically manipulated, then it will never resolve. This seems to be the case now.

I don't understand one bit of what you are talking about. I laid out the reasons why I think your thesis is nonsense. You first said it's patel patwari system being ended, movement was there long before it ended so that is end of your meaningless argument. I also laid out how similar conditions exist in entire country and nothing special with TG. Reddies have more than considerable clout in TG so there goes another of your meaningless argument. What other rich castes are you talking about? Velamas? Their new found power is because of KCR not prior to that at least in a big way.

Patel patwari kanna mundhu kooda movement undhante emani meaning? The same rich castes wanted control of it ani kaadha. Andhras were pretty new to the combined state too. That itself shows who wanted power in TG. Combined state was only for 70 years. These people have been ruling it for centuries.

That's the problem , KCR and Jagan will not be in power forever.

They need to figure out a scientific agreement which is both satisfactory for both states.

Remember this whole issue started when Telangana bjp and congress were alleging that Andhra is stealing water .

KCR seems to be using it before elections now

Nah, Lokesh is no where closer to  "politically" manipulate.

At his best, he can protest with a tweet.

I don’t believe that. TG movement happened because few rich castes wanted it. Easy to dominate others if outsiders are not there. Caste feeling ledhu ledhu anedhi kooda andhuke akkada so that they can pretend that everyone is equal and discriminate behind the scenes. The rich castes had to stay rich someway.

Name a few please

Vu.....

Both states Cm's got some good amount of anti incumbency in public, to divert those kcr raising regional sentiments, jagga as usual like a fool saying hyd lo andravalla kosam venaaki tagutunanu

Adhi epudu langas, jaffas, pulkas telsukuntaro......

water crisis is shameful not just to the states under discussion but to any state. upstate or downstate shouldnt matter - water levels takkuva vunnappudu dam heights penche upstates should also accept all the water when there are floods without sending it to downstates - I guess no upstate would ever agree to that.

I also think the root cause is unplanned urbanization be it upstate or downstate - every house should have water pits and municipalities should not allow storied building without proper square footage, trees and a water body nearby - no body focuses on the problems within but it almost always became a habit to just force things out of others.

ah states ee states nundi water laakkoni entha kaalam problem ki temp solution istaaru - permanent solutions meeda focus inkeppudu chestaar vayya
