Yes, non-compete clause undi if your friends left mid-way, employer has right to proceed legally. I think best way is to talk it out or negotiate outside legal realm.

And even vendors have these clause especially if you want to skip V and establish an EC model, I guess time bagaleka pothe he might have to face the heat from E and V.

unfortunately USA lo non-competent agreements are valid bro , if your employer know that you joined with client , he can sue you any time .... bayata settle chesukovadam better

FT employer manager ki and HR ki notice chupinchu...since your frnd is now their employee, they will take care of it....valla company legal team untadi and more they are more powerful than consultancy hired cheap attorney's

He probably won't go to court due to his relationship with the client. 

 

If he goes to court, non-compete agreement valla your friend will lose the case and have to pay his Ex-employer.

Sign chesa bro adhi one year back and na client every 6 month ki extend chesthadu. Vedu agreement lo em rasado last tym chusthey date em mention cheyala. Expert ni adagali.
