Bro.. im from Seema and I dont have interest in politics.

ALL reddy families in seema supported ysr, they never converted. at least in my circle of at least a couple thousand reddys none of them converted for political gains. very few did for govt jobs, few did for mokku etc.. also, caste politics seema lo chala takkuva, muslim votes typically used to go to tdp that changed in the last 10 years, its 50-50 now. rest there is no clear division like that in hindu castes.. once in a while TGV can get vysya votes thats it.

when ysr first came to power, oka 100-200 murder ayi untai seema lo he removed all his opposition. Similarly, when cbn came to power, he sentenced all men in faction families to life.

simple ga cheppali ante.. if ysrs tried to convert, all votes will polarize against them. seema lo conversions chala rare.. they only did that for 1% reservation advantage when I was a child.. ippudu adi kooda ledu. and these converts are only on paper for a some advantage in a job etc but no one changed their practice..

reddys are a rich community in seema.

they are a very proud and well connected community for many generations, there is no way one can convert them against their will. Whole faction started because of reddy families, they are very proud of their family name and legacy. fyi, im not reddy, but know at least a thousand reddy families in the area.
