Indian interests ki Taliban coming back to power is not good at all. Civil war is the best hope, but it will still be messy. Pakistan and China ki major advantage in the region unfortunately. India can neither fight not sacrifice nor has any universal principles like west has with its civil rights or china has communism and arabs have with islam. It can offer afghans nothing but can only buy itself some influence with some library there or a dam here. And it hopes it bought them cheap. Talibans know it, america knows it, pakistan knows it. All of the three spend their blood there and put boots on ground there. They will never have respect for india and its cheap shenanighans. China is a resource hog though and will build some infrastructure like roads/factories. The biggest fear for them is an Islamic caliphate forming that will decimate anything they have built. However, something like that can mess Pakistan too. Pakistani pashtuns are ethnically related to afghans. If that happens then the caliphate will be at our door step. This is the culture difference that foreign policy idiots of US doesn’t understand, they think they can force democracy on any tribal people. It took a decade for usa to push taliban back(with major blood loss and trillions of dollars) and it took less than 6 months for taliban to come back.
