Why to be depressed?

You are in USA, better country and you dont have to do household chores and maryadalu to in laws which you do in india here. 

And you have freedom to wear whatever you want and you dont have to wear thaali or bottu too.

So you got lot of freedom than 90 percent indians, stop your dramas aunty.

You want to work but cannot work, you have to buy your husband gifts for his birthday with his credit card, you cannot contribute to the family even though you're an adult. How can an adult with earning potential be okay with being dependent?

Would you be okay with staying at home when everyone else is going to work? Especially if you have work experience in India?

H1 vallu kanisam working no? H4 visa is horrible, because they have to stay at home all the time.

I’m not pro or anti h4, but please don’t say this anywhere else...so every regressive.
