హైదరాబాద్‌: పోలీసులను నాలుగు రోజులుగా ఉరుకులు పరుగులు పెట్టించిన గాంధీ ఆస్పత్రి అత్యాచార ఘటనలో కొత్త ట్విస్ట్‌ బయటపడింది. మహబూబ్‌నగర్‌ నుంచి ఈ నెల 5న మూత్రపిండాల వ్యాధిని నయం చేసుకునేందుకు గాంధీ ఆస్పత్రికి వచ్చిన ఓ రోగి భార్య, మరదలిపై అత్యాచారం, ఆ తర్వాత ఒకరు కనిపించకుండా పోయిన ఘటన కలకలం రేపిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. కానీ, చివరికి అత్యాచార ఘటన అంతా కట్టుకథగా పోలీసులు తేల్చారు. గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రిలో మహిళపై అత్యాచారం జరిగిన ఆధారాలు లభించలేదని పోలీసులు వెల్లడించారు. సీసీ కెమెరా దృశ్యాలు, వైద్య నివేదిక, సాంకేతికత ఆధారంగా దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టిన పోలీసులు మహిళలు చేసిన ఆరోపణలు అవాస్తమని తేల్చారు. మత్తు ప్రయోగం, అత్యాచారం జరగలేదని నిర్ధారించారు. చిత్తభ్రమలకు లోనై సెక్యూరిటీగార్డుపై అత్యాచారం ఆరోపణలు చేసినట్లు దర్యాప్తులో వెల్లడైంది. ‘‘గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రికి వచ్చిన ఇద్దరు మహిళలు కల్లుకు బానిసలు. భర్తను ఆసుపత్రిలో చేర్చిన తర్వాత ఐదు రోజుల పాటు అక్కా చెల్లెళ్లు కల్లు తాగలేదు. కల్లు తాగకపోవడంతో వారిలో విత్‌డ్రాయల్‌ లక్షణాలు బయటపడ్డాయి. దీంతో ఆగస్టు 11న రోగిని గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రిలోనే వదిలేసి అక్క వెళ్లి పోయింది. ఆగస్టు 11 నుంచి 15 వరకు ఆసుపత్రి ఆవరణలోనే ఆమె చెల్లెలు ఉంది. ఆగస్టు 12, 14 తేదీల్లో సెక్యూరిటీ గార్డుతో ఆమె సన్నిహితంగా మెలిగింది. అన్నీ క్షుణ్నంగా పరిశీలించినా ఎక్కడా అత్యాచారం జరిగినట్టు ఆధారాల్లేవు’’ అని పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.

భర్తను గాంధీ ఆసుపత్రిలో వదిలేసి వెళ్లిన మహిళను నారాయణగూడలోని ఓ ఔషధ దుకాణం వద్ద గురువారం ఉదయం పోలీసులు అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. ఆసుపత్రిలో భర్తను చేర్పించినప్పటి నుంచి ఇప్పటివరకు ఏం జరిగిందనే దానిపై ఆమెను చిలకలగూడ పోలీసులు విచారించారు. ఆమెను భరోసా సెంటర్‌కు పంపిన పోలీసుల అక్కడ వైద్య పరీక్షలు చేయించారు. కేసు దర్యాప్తులో భాగంగా మహబూబ్‌నగర్‌కు వెళ్లిన పోలీసులకు కీలక విషయాలు తెలిశాయి. అక్కా చెల్లెళ్లు మద్యం ఉపసంహరణ లక్షణాల(ఆల్కహాల్ విత్ డ్రాయల్ సింప్టమ్స్‌)తో ఉన్నారని గుర్తించారు. అక్కడి ఆర్ఎంపీ వైద్యులతో మాట్లాడి ఈ విషయాన్ని ధ్రువీకరించుకున్నారు. దీంతో అసలు కథ వెలుగు చూసింది.
