I thought the same way sitting in CA.. Austin overhyped ani.. 

Real Estate is driven by Quantity Demanded vs Supply theory.. Plain and Simple. Migilindi antha manam chettukinda muchatlu ki baguntadhi. Why do you think CA real estate is so expensive? because they cannot provide enough housing to the supply needed as majority of the urban side of the state is in the earthquake zone they cannot build anything more than 2 or 3 stories. 

Austin has a influx of people moving in from the past 10 years.. more influx coming rapidly during the pandemic. Housing ki least city approvals vunna city Austin. I came in May/ June, when I first came in the Apartment complex is empty, now it is hard for me to find parking around. Even with the roads with full of construction vehicles there is still a lot of Housing Supply crunch here.

140K base + 60K stocks per year = $200k. 

Schools charter schools (free and no tuition fee ) and good public schools  mast vunnayi.

House range from $430k to $3M.  Depends upon your style.

lol..  Prices going up every year.  Covid accelerated the growth.  No negativity bro.

Thats right. Maa Apartment complex lo Waiting list start aiyindi. It seems like Apartments and houses will start having waiting lists now as there are limited number of them and people are moving in day by day.. Housing supply issues

Arrey babu.. I lived in CA for 10 years. if you think Austin is worse and inflated by tech than CA.. Ne amaikatwaniki joharlu.

Texas lo big n cheap ani anukuni raavadhu. A decent home with a decent yard is $500k+. Schools mostly new, so rating inka teleedhu. but desis majority unna communities lo unte rating picha lite. 

salary client batti, i know someone working for just $100k in devops and someone else working as SDET for $165k. check levels.fyi and bargain anthe.

Good time to move is winter, rents konchem takkuva untayi, weather ki adjust avvachu.

True.. winter is better to both rent and buy a home…

Impossible in a TX city now. Rural areas ki vellali inka 300K antey. Check Temple, TX
