Used car should have that depreciated price in to effect for the simple fact that is used. Ippudu unna racha lo used car prices do not make sense.

it apples more to cars with lesser depreciation value (aka higher residual).

Hondas are already high residual cars. 

Now add covid driven issues like chip shortage --> leading to production shortage etc, that lead to used car price hike (supply demand + fomo + higher residual)

Bottom line : wait if you can for 7-12 months hoping this bubble will cool down (not burst). urgent ante it makes sense to buy a new car as opposed to a used honda. 

This logic may not apply to cars with heavy depreciation (aka lesser residual) like Infiniti, GMC, Chrysler etc.

Honda typically has high resale values, current times lo they are even higher taking them closers to MSRP
