I am more concerned about the twins than your friend. Especially the girl. Aa ammayi emi anatam ledha? Sibling meedha ishtam ledha? Enduko this whole thing is raising a lot of red flags on both sides from a 3rd party perspective.

This is quite common in arranged marriage system and happening since many generations. Ammayi  andhamga ledu ankunte tanakosam ekuva dowry munde decide chesevallu parents.
