Procedure is simple, create an account in NRI portal using US phone number and an email address. You will get OTP to your email address instead of US number. Once logged in, depending on what your request is, enter the relevant information along with proofs like passport and Passbook or land registration information and submit. I submitted a ticket 6 months ago and got it resolved from the collector in 1 month. I didn’t follow up with anyone or paid anything to MRO. Let me know if there’s a specific issue and I’ll try to help.
