i was born and raised in chennai, and have never heard of the caste kamma before I joined this db. max when I was a kid, a lot of my friends used to talk about how great sandrabob was, and how pathetic karunanidhi was. we even got a movie for it with Arjun Oke Okkadu . hehe..

But it didn't change the way TN was governed kadha.

They really did not try to go out of telugu states.. because they don’t have interests out side of telugu states.. if they had India would have been sold to pakisthan by now by pacha cartel

but you are simply forgetting the painful scars of partition / border srkrimishes . These are still fresh in gujarati societies memory 

Andhra people's memory of any invasion is long forgotten.  Same as tamil nadu 

I will repeat again the only way bjp will make inroads into AP / tamil nadu is through caste just like in Karnataka 

EVen sendral tried using communal angle but deep down he knows people don't really respond to it well
