This is common thing with kings … hindu kings destroyed Buddhist temples and razed other kingdom Hindu temples and took idols as trophies… 

In the pre-mughal era check  how many hindu temples were razed by Hindu kings

That’s what I am saying history is history … Buddhism and Jainism kuda adhe nela pai puttai and the reason is to counter brahmanical domination and so kings embraced it … all these things won’t have any relevance in modern day, quoting those and building enemity brings nothing to common man

Buddhism didn’t left India, it was forced to as Buddhist monks were persecuted and their monasteries were razed by bhramanical backed kings … one such example is shankaracharya, shankaracharya revived Hinduism by destroying Buddhism… with his influence one hindu king destroyed bhodhi tree ani buddhist scripts lo undhi 

even Nalanda was destroyed by a bhramanical king and announced rewards for people who kill and bring monks head

Dalai lama is in India bcoz of strategic issues/foreign policy  not becoz of religion
