student days lo ilaney filing chesa f1 meeda indian batch tho ( my first ever tax filing in US), 5k ki paina refund ochindhi but fews months lo irs letter came saying I was not qualified for some treaty that was filed like I qualified, money back kattalsi ochindhi to irs.

Never do tax filing with desi off shore tax filing companies… remember that there is lot of fraud going on and they don’t even secure your sensitive information like ssn, dob, etc..

there are so many security controls that are in place in US when dealing with sensitive information in US and they are virtually non existent in India…

ledu ba. one of them had house loan in india. other person charities ki donate chesaru iddaru. irs inquired a few months later for proof and receipt.
