background check lo SSN sharing but so many people involved before it reaches end party

Hi friends, 

oka job offer came, background check C2C lo asking personal details like SSN , etc..

usually not all C2c need background check but this one looks like . IT role. I am not inclined to give SSN . Background check is thru some third party hireright company ata.

Is there any way to avoid this situation ..basically background check is fine but SSN share cheyodu ani--through so many parties in between before it reaches the third party .

one time ID theft victim so.

any suggestions? background check chesedi is one witch like company --but a new name

Kaka, usually these layers/ Consultancies will share HireRight link..

U should fill SSN and other details there.. in their HireRight url. For Background check. You might also be asked to give Urine test. 

I don't think any Layer/ Consultancies asks SSN details thru mail or call .. or will they even have access to look ur SSN from HirRright website ( Consulatancies might ask for last 4 digits at Max)

Anyway Subject to correction:  DB pedhalu might advise you

no brother, oka desi consultancy layer between client - asking ssn thru email/word doc...no ani gattiga cheppanu,,...finally said ok.

asked to send third party link for backgrd chk directly..now sent thru workForceLogiQ- i dont know waht they do as pre employement screening ..so asking here..

All SSN details aa Hireright vallau pampinchina url (My Profile created) lo  mathramae update chesa.. Other than to them..Never shared to any in any format.

Anyway Rules marayo emo.. not sure. I shared only last 4 digits of my SSN with Layers/ consultancies.. BG Check vallaki full SSN form fill chesa that too in their website only

asalu employment related BG check lo full SSN em cheskuntaro!! we provide the employment details and references, stay locations etc.,  Full SSN tho em kanukkuntaru ?

SSN is must. They will check Judicial Cases, Polcie Cases, Arrest records and warrants, Sex offender Registry etc. most sensitive records. there is no way you can escape this BGC. you need to give it to them. 

Once BGC completed, you can ask for BGC report whcih they will provide by law.
