Offer letter

I interviewed for a small startup, they asked for my H1 docs and have started the H1 transfer. But so far have not given me an offer letter. On following up, they have been saying  for the delay etc. Any ideas if this is acceptable process, why are they delaying releasing the offer letter? Find this all very strange.

small private companies lo process anedhi emi peddaga undadhu. Be patient and work with them.

I didn’t understand, Without offer letter from them you didn’t accept any position. So on what basis can they start h1 transfer? Are you guessing they started transfer or you have the receipt from uscis?

even if they give you offer letter and later go back after H1B transfer chesedhi em ledu … everything is at will employment

H1 file cheyalante offer letter undali otherwise how does uscis know the salary and position

They sent me LCA to post visibly in my apartment. Which I have posted, last five days now, is the transfer initiated after the LCA posting period or does this mean the transfer is already underway?  

This is a startup got to know through mutual friends, so not overly concerned, but you guys have a point

No offer letter needed for H1B … they need to sign support letter with job description… your pay will be in LCA

What is support letter? Is that like an offer letter?

A letter written to USCIS officer mentioning about their company, about your duties, your skills … the letter will be included in your H1B packet. Something like this
