for me its not worth it for messing around for 5.5%.

the way i look at it is - if i can pay with a  good travel credit card I get 3x points - approx 5% value + i get travel insurance with Sapphire Reserve. In case of cancellations I get money back rather than credit. If I am tight on cash, I can pay slowly. If I am losing all those benefits, I am looking for atleast 15-20% price adjustment. That is my personal take.

Etihad is in trouble. They drastically cut down the flight routes.  I think they are only flying from Chicago and Washington DC.

they are flying from JFK as well. A380 anni aapesi 777/787/350 avi operating. Hopefully they bring back 380 on the JFK route. right now only Chicago, NYC, DC anthe
