What is the clear difference between these 2 companies ? Looks like they both do programtic ad bidding

Both are demand side platforms .

 

but ttd has the technology edge and they manage and run the advertisements for several big companies and they run their service based on  data driven to target the interested audiences .
 

TTD connected with 105 different SSP (seller side platform) exchanges and the scan 10milliom ads per seconds and choose the slots that fits the client needs . They are advantage with their technology and they can scale.

TTD has coonected tv opportunity and Jeff green (Ttd ceo) was telling that every subscription service may introduce ad based service (example Hulu service with advertisements) . This looks promising from my prospective.

 

they have introduced a new product called solimar and it is little more adavancr that help customers with lot on insights . Ttd looks very promising

What about pubmatic?

Very small player SSp(seller side) side and it is not direct competition to TTd. I did not explore much of their competitive advantages
