What they failed to mention is that all the parts , including the casing are made elsewhere and shipped to india 

There is extremely little value addition done in india , manual assembly and shipped elsewhere 

Out of the 10000 crores the net export is probably 100-200 crores

Does Foxconn make iPhones in India?
Apple already produces iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 in the Foxconn plant and iPhone SE in the Wistron plant in Bengaluru. As per estimates, Apple produces almost 70% of the smartphones it sells in India within the country.
The iPhones will be produced in Wistron's Narasapura plant located in Kolar district. Wistron has proposed to invest over Rs 2,900 crore in India to ramp up efforts for the local production of iPhone.
