Cal State will do admissions without SAT or ACT

The California State University system will completely eliminate use of the tests at all 23 of its campuses.

This is to root out abnormally high asian enrollment at Caltech 

Since California doesn't allow affirmative action , the only way they could enforce diversity is to choose an artibary criteria for admissions 

The main objective is to reduce Asians , increase whites and a token minority

Cal tech is not part of cal university system and it didn’t drop SAT requirements (only dropped SAT requirements temporarily during pandemic)

For a long time merit was used as an excuse to keep people of color out , but then Asians started replacing white students , so they had to prop up affirmative action 

The biggest beneficiary of AA is white women , look up the enrollment of white women across prestigious colleges before and after AA was put into action

All this packaged and delivered with sweet words of liberalism. same thing happens in india with rss and congress. infact its much worse. here they try to keep out state powers and deny the comfort of native language to workers so they can try keep them in a permanent second class position.

while your observation in vomerica are good you are too emotionally trapped to observe happening in indian states.

There is no real poverty in southern states like hunger or anything apart from tiny percentages. They are kept in the back.
