It looks like Sai Mounika Nekkalapudi may have did a fraud in interviews to get into google. She joined Google in March 2021, its little suspicious if she took help of other folks to crack these virtual interviews.

She went to SJSU (2014 to 2016) and with all her previous work exp (found all these info in cached pages) its very questionable how she got into google too.

Pure ignorance of how things work in the states is the culprit. Yes, they are super smart enough to come to USA, then work for Twilio and Google.  And they are smart enough to play the same thing in India. What they lack is how SEC systems work in detecting this stuff.

 

(1) One doesn't need some machine learning to detect this stuff. Just look at earnings date of each company, and run a scan for 2-sigma success bets.  This gives a list of perps.

(2) Now look at whether these perps have successful bets from multiple brokers.

(3) Further look at the history of these accounts, how long they have been idle, how long they have been successful

(4) See how they are connected to the company

(5) After this, ask the company to how these perps could have known the insider info (And companies love to provide this info).

(6) SEC has access to cell phone records, they can zero in on the dates when these perps bought call options. Now further look into who these perps spoke to, sms'ed to, in that date range.

So, it took two years to file charges. Kind of expected for these cases.

In the case of that Apple lawyer, Gene Lavoff, it took 2 years as well for his tradings up to 2016, and he was terminated by Apple in Sep 2018. Charges filed in February 2020.

I think these folks get at least at least 6 months time, based on the profits. Usually $500K profit = a year. 

$1M / 5 = 200K = 6 months each. Some may get more time time than others.

Embassies, immigration folks have access to both. Even if it is civil, it is problematic: there is a "moral character" clause.
