Tesla ran out of that long back. No credits. In current scenario Tesla is the only EV which had good motor and battery tech. Others will catch up but takes time. Remember how apple is the only smartphone which we can trust back in 2010 and now most smartphones are pretty much good. It takes time for others to catch up Anthe.

Remember that lucid is starting. They have to show off premium to get buyers. I can agree with you when they do mass production like Tesla and still keep same quality.

Tesla is not a great show off car.   Without gas engine and transmission, it increases reliability and safety.  If people are buying a Tesla, they are showing off that they are practical and have common sense.   Tesla 3 and Y are going to be absurdly common like Toyota Corolla.  Not rare if everyone with a decent job can buy a Tesla.

If you want a show off car, spend six figures on some random luxury car.  Or at least put a reservation for next generation Tesla Roadster.  Very few people will own a Roadster.
