its up to you how much you want for your retirement, my goal is to get fixed monthly rental or business income of 4 lakhs without doing anything. Other investments and appreciation for my lands are icing on the cake

invest in good mutual funds in India...now market is low so returns are less...but once market picks up... you can get gud income

Commercial space in Hyd?

I recently visited India. I know nothing about Hyd as i am from Kadapa. I happened to visit few commercial spaces.

Rate is somewhere between -7000-12000/Sqft

Few of them taking white and some of them want mix of black and white.

Was told rental income would be decent.

Question is who should manage this property?

If builder manages then its not a big deal , we will have steady income.

If there is owners association one of your family member should be active to handle that. 

 

Apartments?

One can get rent. With these inflated prices .. We cough up lots of money upfront

Villas?

Not for investment unless we live there

Options:

If you have green card

Rental property here 

Stocks

Mutual funds

Options :

If you dont have green card

Stocks

mutual funds

Some land in district head quarter level in India
