Zuckerberg is an engineer to the core while Musk is one of the greatest marketer. Even todate Zuckerberg writes code and Metaverse is something which will change everything going forward on we interact/do business and I am sure that will make him the richest person to ever live on this planet.

Fb is also contributing to development community like react frameworks, new AI language for Meta etc.

They have worlds most prolific social networks and they haven’t  even monetized whatsapp. 
 

instagram and whatsapp are their crown jewels and they are not going anywhere anytime soon. Only risk is profit hits due to ios/android privacy policies. Imo Only meta might replace them

Virtual reality lo oka revolution create sesthaduuu Meta thooo....Its still in beginning stages. I strongly think he is cooking something. Its in building stage.

Doesn't matter....its all about decision making...when you start making everything from scratch there is 90% chance it will fail...you know Tesla almost got bankrupt a couple of times right?...acquired whatsap and Instagram looking at their future potential ...ultimately what helps his business is the one matters....doesn't matter if you build it or brought it

atleast one musk fan who lives in reality.

metaverse will make the richest guy on the planet only if the tech exists. unless there's a breakthrough in computing and virtual tech, metaverse is just a glorified video game.

and that breakthrough will not come from zuckerberg unfortunately. He's good, but not that good.

no. He won't, and he can't. If he wants to start a revolution in VR, he should step back from fb, and float a new company. The tech is a few decades away.

zuckerberg is also very poor in building user interfaces..

if meta comes to fruition (it wont), and its ui is anything like fb, he can't capture marketshare with that kind of sh1t design. its not 2005..

when vr tech explodes, fb will be left behind.
