absolutely horrific and I am shaken and can’t fathom the fact we could be victim’s of this madness also

There’s a word when someone loses their parents. They’re called an orphan.

There’s a word for when someone loses a spouse. They’re called a widow, or widower.

There is no word for when a parent loses a child, because it is not normal. It is not supposed to happen. They never stop being a parent.

My heart absolutely breaks for the families of the victims.
