when companies lay off people, they are not allowed to file 140's, they will also have a vast pool of local resources to hire and cut their immigration costs, so less H1B's will be hired

Current I-140 and PERM taggutaye but already line pedda ga unte GC em fast move avvadu. For suppose next two year recession undi anukundam and H1/PERM/140 filings will be low but current eb2 2015-2022 applicant count emi marradu kada.

If people are out of jobs, they might not apply i-485 when their date is current but that number alone cannot move the needle faster.

Simple answer is no chance. 2008 lo unna applications and 2015 nundi unna application chudu bro USCIS data lo. last 2 years la every year 300K spillover adi kuda Ind ke vasthe thappa evanni clear avvavu. agreed bro. Dates move avvali ante just FB visas aagali ledu ante low demand vunna kuda max 20K avuthayi every year. Not a big deal for 2015 and 2016 numbers. Okkasari Spillover maayam ayyaka routine country cap lo ki pothamu so max 5K-10K visas anukunta kada EB ki ? Not sure mana lekka. okavela visa lu EB lo migilina automatic ga Fb spillover ki pothayi thappa EB ki ivvaru as per counrey cap rules. aa lekka na count vesthe 2015 clear avvali ante how many years with regular visas ?
