You need to have 30% down payment money ... 20% for down payment , 10% for furniture + rainy day funds.

your gross salary * 4 times ... $150k * 4 = $600k . 

 

Do math based on your gross salary and buy comfortably .

when the investment is small .. one dont have to look into every aspect .. but that is not the case when one is planning on investment of that price .. that is my opinion uncle ..
