It’s a multi beneficiary project. The water drawn from Godavari will be used for Agricultural, industrial, aquaculture and drinking water purposes of Hyderabad. Once Mallannasagar, Gandhamalla, Baswapur and reservoirs being built near Hyd comes into fully operational, 120 TMC of water can be drawn which can be used for the purposes I’ve mentioned. Already Mallannasagar and Keshavapur reservoirs are completed, this year I’m hopeful of the state govt filling both these reservoirs . IT Hub is one of its kind ecosystem set up for start ups in Hyd which will show its impact in the next 5-10 years. Yadadri is not just a mere temple, but KCR started it to turn it to a spiritual town with all the recreational facilities within drivable distance to Hyderabad. Couple of theme parks and several resorts are being planned around Yadadri currently. In the long run, it will become a big spiritual center. In Health care sector, KCR recently laid foundation stones for the construction of 3 Multi Speciality hospitals (named TIMS Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences) in three directions of the city (Alwal, Miyapur and Kothapet) and one more 24 floored Hospital in Warangal. The budget for these 4 hospitals is 4000 crores. In Education sector, recently state govt started an initiative named “mana ooru mana badi” in which govt schools are being renovated with an allocated budget of 7400 crores. Quote
