Uddhav Thackray Resigns as Maharashtra CM

My previous manager was from Maharashtra and was an ardent supporter of Bala Saheb Thackerey. Apparently the unexpressed feeling back in the day was that if there was one huge blunder that Bala Saheb made was to anoint his son Uddhav as the party leader instead of Raj Thackerey who was actually in the mould of Bala Saheb himself. 

And after Raj left Shiv Sena and the ensuing demise of Bala Saheb himself Shiv Sena was never the same.

Bala Saheb Thackerey would have died a thousand deaths if he got to know that Uddhav actually allied with Congress for CM's seat. 

This was so antithetical to Bala Saheb as he was never interested in the CM seat himself (albeit he did control it when SS-BJP combine was in power in the 90's). Point of the matter is Shiv Sena for a vast majority of its existence was in the opposition and that did not particularly bother them since they always were known to be fighting against whoever was in power. 

This might be the end of Shiv Sena as we know it.

Shiv sena was forced to join hands with NCP (not congress) after BJP showed it is no different from congress in disrespecting "local" parties and "local" languages. I hope SS can contest on their own one in maha maybe with just NCP. Let congress and BJP rot.

One major mistake UT allowed is, he openly supported land deals for underworld mafia under the binami disguise.

Congress and NCP MLAs played the broker / binami roles for those big transactions, mounting to 100's of crores..per transaction

it was strengthening the financial situation again for the mafia and terrorist which took lot of effort to curb.

I think, UT never really had any control on the government. It was Pawar who has been running the show. 
 

Deshmukh and Malik, both of them NCP Ministers and both are in jail and still retained their ministries. Ikade ardam ayindi NCP is running the show. 
 

Pawar’s companies especially seeds and pesticide companies are back in the business after MVA came to power.
