Airlines fired people left and right during COVID. Now everything is back to normal and there is not enough staff available to operate. It’s a big mess. It will take atleast an year to restore normalcy.

Airlines la staff shortage…especially ground handling staff. COVID time lo contractors ki hours tagginchadam or fire cheyadam chesinaru…

Memorial Day weekend ki staff antha stressed our ayianri…over time, excess hours and triple work than they normally do…atla over stressed workers evaru kuda July 4th long weekend ki over time cheyadam lantivi chestaleru…and hiring is so hard these days even if they find someone, it will take 3-4 weeks of training before they are sent to handle ground operations…the result, flight delays, cancellations and baggage delays..

Dost recently went to india British airways. London la they didn’t load. His total luggage didn’t arrive. It came only after 3 days

Yeah learnt this lesson in early years in us. Not just flying, just Chill at home during long weekend and do all the visiting at normal times. Mental peace and  Saves lots of money and time.

Especially when work is now flexible with wfh situation, it makes sense not to travel on long weekends. Inflated prices, pricey tickets, crowd, etc …dani badulu normal weekend apudu less rush vunapudu oka week off petti mari tirigina nastam takuve…peace of mind aina vuntadi
