It is actually very similiar to this. In fact any ice cream will behave like this if you freeze it to very cold temperature and then put a burning hot flame to it. The black spots you see in original video is probably soot from the flame not the ice crea,

difference is they use the world mcdonald - they dont defame the country. here any company in china do something they try to make it like entire country is this way.

Because of that viral videos came to existence McDonald lost the market for several years at one point of time it almost died, same thing happened to kurkure brand in India and Cheetos in US

In this case some burning smell anedhi vasthundi because of the ingredients they used for ice-cream making which company claimed, good thing Shanghai market regulator started investigating the case

I dont know man. The way they built those railroads/bridges/cities and eliminated poverty seems awesome. Morover chinese govt does not care about rich. you see how they fined alibaba - billions. 

Also originally chinese govt was made by peasants and poorest sections of society.

Regarding autocratic - i am not sure. As far as i know authority in china also comes from bureacracy and law. so its same as others. I know i dont know 100 percent. but its fascinating.
