there is genetic testing ba can be done if family history is present but palpitations symptoms in young people can be a red flag appudu echo cheyinchukovali

one guy(i think he was 35 when he passed away) was fielding while playing cricket in banglore and collapsed suddenly. They had ambulance in the ground at that time and still could not save him.

another guy collapsed while running in football.

 

Regular hear checks are must

Read about sudden cardiac arrest.

no use generally HCM initial presentation itself is sudden cardiac death but if you have family history early death in family due to cardiac causes then cardiac evaluatin of ECG and echo are necessary and if you have palpitations history

13 years, ago my classmate also died same. he was playing cricket and all of sudden he fell down, within few mins, he lost.
