If Akshay Kumar or the fat piggy heroes from TN, KN, Kerala act in telugu movies, how many of us will watch them and for how long? If Udit Narayan sings telugu songs, how many of us can take it for how long? The great Mohd Rafi and Lata could not scratch the surface of tollywood music when achieving success was so easy in those days. People should stick to their niche region for organic success (MB is smart in this area and sticks to tollywood)

That is a wrong understanding, he expanded his market by leaps and bounds, as a result the his production values has gone up, the scale of his movies gone up, his remuneration has gone up because his reach has gone up. 
 

none of them are exclusively making Bollywood movies, Bollywood is only an extension from their primary market(Telugu). They will be never regarded as Bollywood hero like we don’t regard Kamal or rajni as Tollywood heros, for tamil actors Telugu market is an extension of their primary market which is Tamil and access to Telugu market gives them an ability to produce movies at a lavish scale

even if ott is bought for few crores that is a win win.
