it was 1 cent..at least an year back and I can say for sure. My parents used to use this and clearly remember it was 1 cent

avu used to be 1c.  Eee madhye (past 1 month) I see that they increased it to 2c.  Kontha mandhi suttalu/old people don't have smart phones/unna whatsapp vagaira too complicated for them - GV works out perfectly for them.  Appudappudu matlade daaniki this increase may not make a difference..vantaki ginne gas meedha petti directions kosam phone chesi motham vantayye daaka sodhi kotte mataithe, inko alternative soosukovali...as the bill is going to double from now on.
