My original H1B has the LCA tied to the client location where i am no longer working. so employer suggested to do the amendment becoz my work location change.
I spoke to a lawyer on avvo, his suggestion was not worry as i am legally allowed to enter till the last day of stamping. He also raised a concern, with valid h1b stamping - i should be given a I-94 with the I-797
I did some search in websites, i see mixed views on this issue. really lost 😞
 

You will not be give I 94 on ammendment bro because yiu are outside country , mee company attorney thone oka sari matladu bro or take 30 min consultancy with some lawyers if yiur company lawyer is not supporting but do quick as 4 months is approcching

Nenu anedi endi ante bro he enters on 3 month valid 94 , then what ?? On plan uis file transfer or extension again ?? Poe degara I dint think he can extended 94

of course he has to file extension before i797 expiry.

at poe he will get i94 only upto i797 end date

Yaa ade cheptuna he can enter but he is entering on the amended one (which has the last action ) that doesnt have i94 because he was out of country not sure poe degara old one chupistamu enter avutamu (

Yaa if everything goes well enter on the old one and transfer to new company or extend etc

it was filed when he was out of country it will not have i94 and to enter us you don't need i94.

All you need are Valid approval notice, Valid visa, Valid passport & Employment offer
