Believe it or not.. this is a very good scheme.. I have seen this first hand.. doesn’t matter what the source is but it is good to give food to poor people.. if jagga is smart, he will start this scheme (of course with a different name)..

No, not at all. Tamil Nadu version of Amma Canteen serves a purpose and its a cycle. Where as in AP, it was a electioneering concept with no sustainability. 
 

In Tamil Nadu, women self help groups run these canteens and are like indirect employment and raw material is subsidized from civil supplies. Most raw material is sourced locally. Where as in AP, Govt gave contract to prepare meals and serve food. About 200 meals per canteen, which is not a sustainable model. This will eventually fail. The same model is still present in TG too, where govt and GHMC subsidize food to be served at 5 Rs and they only serve one meal a day and at places where it is deemed nessasary like Hospitals, Bus terminal and railway stations etc. 
 

AP’s Anna Canteen is a flip model and will not survive unless the face and funding is changed.

Food was supplied to Anna canteens by Akshaya Patra, an NGO. This is not for profit but the govt will have to pay for the cost. The idea was to expand it to all the villages and towns if it becomes successful… but this also requires lot of funding as it is not easy to subsidize food every day..

that’s why said Jagan should rename it if he feels CBN takes all the credits. Akshaypatra ani edho undhi telangana lo … I went to gandhibhavan few months back & near to that I found that. I thought Of try their food, but it’s not so appetizing. Minimum one curry, sambar , chutney etc tho tirumala/annavaram type lo manchi good andhinchocchu…

Yes.. he should continue the schema and rebrand it with ysr name or with his name like Jagananna mess or with his mom’s name like “Vijayamma Buvva” or something similar..
