Question on big tech salaries

basic pay 200k plus joining bonus 80k plus 800k stocks worth over 4 years anuko.

People are adding it up for full four years and dividing by four and saying thier TC is 420k per year ani.

Now what happens after four years - joining bonus wont be there. will they get fresh stocks or pay damaal to 200k ?

Yes , usually they get stock refreshers .

You can negotiate for next years but will mostly depend on your performance.

If you’re in same level after 4 years. TC will be drastically decreased that means you make less than first 4 years , They will award stock refreshers after 4 years but they are not negotiable. 4 years work your ass off to get promotion, if not leave.

Thee sticks they promise at the time of joining, say 200k, they are spread across 4 yrs(eg.in amazon, 5, 15,40,40% vest in 1,2,3,4 years). That's it right?. Or will they get 200k worth stocks every year and they vest accordingly?.
