Wife is planning to go to india next month.

Thinking of taking a temporary debit card in US and use it in India? Any suggestions on this? is this a good / bad idea? Pros & Cons please? where can we take this temporary card?

Wise app lo you can deposit usd and use it everywhere. Or any credit card with no fx fee

Use credit cards which don’t have foreign transaction fee. 

Apply for capital one or Apple Card or amex 

they are international fee free 

Credit card international transaction charges anedi oka trap, don’t fall for it. 
 

Using credit card overseas especially India, charges emi lekunna exchange rate deggara solid lagestaru…for example, USD-INR is now 79.50 but credit card use chesthe exchange rate will be  2-3Rs less on an average…

Its better to use debit cards in local currency especially India. 

lot of credit cards have zero international transaction fees but exchange rate dobbutaru baga

open a NRE/NRO account and use that debit cards 

Oka NRI acc and oka Indian local Esim maintain cheyandi bhayya. Recent experience tho chepthunna. Easy peasy vuntadi life

I mean ind poyinappudu local jio airtel ani baa. Ippudu phones Anni dual sim offering kada including esim.
